  6. 6.What to Do After You Launch

You don't need to spend $3,000 and six weeks to get a professional website online. With SiteForge, the whole process takes less time than your morning coffee run. Here's exactly how to do it.

Step 1: Choose Your Industry Template (5 minutes)

Go to siteforge.app/templates and filter by your industry. If you're a restaurant, click "Restaurant." If you're a photographer, click "Portfolio." You'll see designs built specifically for your business type — not generic layouts you'll have to hack into shape.

💡 Pro Tip

Don't overthink the template choice. Every element — colors, fonts, layout — can be changed in the builder. Pick one whose structure feels right and move on.

Step 2: Customize Your Hero Section (10 minutes)

The hero section is the first thing visitors see. Click on it in the builder to select it, then edit the headline, subheadline, and button text in the right panel. Your headline should answer one question: "What do you do, and for whom?"

  • Keep the headline under 10 words
  • Make the CTA button specific ("Book a Free Call" beats "Get Started")
  • Use a background color from your brand palette, or click "Add Background Image" to use a photo

Step 3: Update Your Services or About Section (15 minutes)

Click the Services section and update the three cards with your actual offerings. For each card: give it a name, write one sentence describing what you do, and pick an emoji icon that fits. Visitors scan — don't write paragraphs here.

Step 4: Set Your Colors and Font (5 minutes)

Click anywhere outside a section to deselect, and the right panel will show your global site settings. Pick a color theme preset that matches your brand, or type your exact hex code. Change the font to something that fits your industry — Playfair Display for luxury brands, Poppins for tech, Merriweather for editorial.

Step 5: Add a Contact Section and Publish (10 minutes)

Every business website needs a contact form. If your template doesn't have one, click the "+" button in the Sections panel and add a Contact section. Then hit the blue Publish button in the top right. Your site goes live instantly at [yoursite].siteforge.app.

What to Do After You Launch

Publishing is the beginning, not the end. Go to your site settings and fill in your SEO title and meta description — this is what Google shows in search results. Then share your new site URL on every social media profile you have, add it to your email signature, and print it on your business cards.

  1. 1Fill in SEO title and meta description
  2. 2Connect your custom domain (Settings → Domains)
  3. 3Share on social media and add to email signature
  4. 4Submit your URL to Google Search Console
  5. 5Check your analytics after one week to see where visitors come from
