Clinics
The diary is not the day.
Clinic day-list software should hold the chair, the lot, and the balance on the same slot. If close is still three logouts, the appointment was never the object.
The problem
The diary is full. Consumables, packages, and outstanding balances live somewhere else. Front desk and clinicians do not share one picture of the day, and close is a fight between three tools.
A cartridge is guessed, not reserved to the slot. A patient with an unpaid pack books another. Holds appear in someone’s head, not on the chair. Retail rings through a till that does not know the package.
We build a day list that knows stock and money. Holds appear on the chair. Packages and balances sit on the patient. Close is a shared checklist, not three logouts. If a packaged diary already covers that, we will say so.
What a custom system holds
- Chair diary with holds the floor can see
- Packages and balance stops on the patient, not in a drawer
- Lots reserved to slots instead of guessed at treatment
- Retail on the package, not a separate till
- Exceptions at close that both desks share
Questions
- How is clinic day-list software different from a diary?
- The diary is appointments. A day list also holds the chair, the lot reserved to the slot, and the balance that should stop a new pack. Close is one checklist, not three logouts.
- How does a custom build start?
- A twenty-minute discovery call. We watch how work, stock, and money move — including the exceptions a template never modelled. Then a written scope. If a packaged product already covers it, we will say so.
- Where are you based, and who do you work with?
- Metalique Studios is a UK software company based in Chigwell, Essex. We build custom operations software for UK hire companies, workshops, field teams, and other ops-heavy SMEs — in the language those floors already use. See the UK page.
Where we work
If front desk and chairs still close as three tools, book a twenty-minute call. We start with how the day actually runs.
